Life Is A Gift
Freely give; freely receive.
As I was about to graduate high school I began to learn and become passionate about working to end global poverty. It was unimaginable to me that millions upon millions of people lacked the most vital resources for life - water, food and shelter - while others had so much more than they could ever need.
I researched global poverty statistics and nonprofit causes looking to discover what the core issues were around poverty and what solutions would truly make a difference. I became fascinated with studying human behaviour to gain a wider understanding about why we we live the way that we do, thus creating the state of the world we currently see.
I believe that life is a free gift. When we live as though our life itself is a gift we become empowered with gratitude, grace and generosity for others.
